Treasury Year Bills Go At 0.145% High Rate

The Treasury Department Tuesday auctioned $25 billion of 364-day bills at a 0.145% high yield, a price of 99.853389.

The coupon equivalent was 0.147%. The bid-to-cover ratio was 4.56.

Tenders at the high rate were allotted 41.06%. The median yield was 0.140%. The low yield was 0.130%.

The bills have an issue date of Feb. 7 and are due Feb. 6, 2014.

Tenders totaled $114,046,729,600 and the Treasury accepted $25,000,362,600, including $152,582,600 non-competitive.

The Fed banks bought nothing for their own account in exchange for maturing securities.
