Leading Indicators Rose 0.3% in March

The composite index of leading economic indicators rose 0.3% in March following an unrevised 0.7% gain in February, the Conference Board reported Thursday.

The coincident index grew 0.2% in March after an unrevised 0.2% gain in February, while the lagging index rose 0.3% after a revised 0.1% climb in February. Economists expected the LEI to rise 0.2%.
