Cuomo, Legislature Concur

New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo and the Legislature reached a general consensus on the coming year’s forecasted state revenues.

In a forecast report released Friday by the state’s Division of the Budget, the Assembly Ways and Means Committee and the Senate Finance Committee, variances ranged from $133 million below to $315 million above the executive budget. Minor differences resulted from each party’s interpretation of economic factors in their revenue models.

The forecast comes one month in advance of the enactment of the fiscal 2012-13 executive budget, which Cuomo proposed at $132.5 billion.
