The Treasury Department said Tuesday it will sell $40 billion of four-week discount bills Wednesday.
There are currently $84.002 billion of four-week bills outstanding.
The bills settle Nov. 15 and are due Dec. 13.
Federal Reserve banks hold nothing in maturing bills in their own accounts.
