Cantor Fitzgerald Adds Five to Municipal Team

Cantor Fitzgerald & Co. has added five professionals to its municipal bond division.

Jim Dolan, John Donovan, Susan Marron, Dennis DiCicco, and Tom Basehart will mainly be involved with sales and trading. Donovan will also do underwriting.

"We are delighted to welcome this outstanding team to Cantor and are confident that their extensive experience and strong industry relationships will make an immediate and positive contribution to the firm," said chief executive officer Shawn Matthews.

Dolan is the head of the municipal division. Like all the five except Basehart, Dolan is a former Sterne Agee & Leach, Inc. professional. There he oversaw expansion of the firm's municipal sales and trading business.

Donovan is the managing director of trading and underwriting. Marron is senior vice president of sales. DiCicco is vice president of institutional sales.

Basehart was formerly a member of Cantor's Bank Services Group. Basehart is managing director of municipal trading in the Memphis, Tenn. office.

DiCicco will work in Cantor's Boston office. The others will work in the New York City office, though Dolan will split his time between New York and Boston.
