Redbook Sees Retail Sales Up 2.0% in Week

Retail sales increased 2.0% in the week ended Sept. 22, after a 2.4% climb the week before, according to the retail sales report released by Johnson Redbook Wednesday.

Month-to-date, September was 2.4% better than the same period a year ago (relative to a target of a 2.2% rise), while September was up 1.7% from August (relative to a target of a 1.5% gain).
