Dallas County Property Values Rise

Property values in Dallas County, Texas, showed the first increase since 2008 last week, as the Dallas County Central Appraisal District certified total values of $157.7 billion, up 1.4% or $2.2 billion from 2011.

Property values in the county have fallen by $12.5 billion over the past three years.

The district attributed $1.25 billion of the total increase to new commercial construction.

Certified taxable values in Collin County rose 2.9% to $74.5 billion.
