Monday, July 30
The Treasury will auction $32 billion of 91-day bills and $28 billion of 182-day discount bills. The 91-day bills settle Aug. 2 and are due Nov. 1. The 182 day-bills settle Aug. 2 and are due Jan. 31, 2013. Currently, there are $28 billion of 91-day bills outstanding and no 182-day bills.

Tuesday, July 31
Personal income and consumption figures for June are released by the Commerce Department.
Employment cost index figures for the second quarter are released by the Labor Department.
Consumer confidence figures for July are released by Conference Board.
The Federal Open Market Committee begins its two-day meeting.

Wednesday, August 1
Construction spending figures for June are released by the Commerce Department.
The Federal Open Market Committee releases a statement on any changes it makes to monetary policy after its meeting.

Thursday, August 2
Initial jobless claims for the week ending July 28 are released by the Labor Department.
Factory orders for June are released by the Commerce Department.

Friday, August 3
The employment report for July is released by the Labor Department.
