Jobless Claims Up 10,000 To 383,000 in May 26 Week

WASHINGTON — Seasonally adjusted initial jobless claims climbed 10,000 to 383,000 for the week ending May 26, while continuing claims fell 36,000 to 3.242 million for the previous week, the Labor Department reported Thursday.

Economists predicted 370,000 initial and 3.242 million continuing claims.
