Jobless Claims Dip 2,000 To 370,000 in May 19 Week

WASHINGTON — Seasonally adjusted initial jobless claims declined 2,000 to 370,000 for the week ending May 19, while continuing claims fell 29,000 to 3.260 million for the previous week, the Labor Department reported Thursday.

Economists polled by Thomson Reuters expected 370,000 initial claims and 3.250 million continuing claims.
