Monday, May 2
The Treasury will auction $29 billion of 91-day bills and $27 billion of 182-day discount bills. The 91-day bills are dated May 5 and due Aug. 4. The 182-day bills are dated May 5 and due Nov. 3. Currently, there are $30.003 billion of 91-day bills outstanding and no 182-day bills.
Construction spending figures for March are released by the Commerce Department.

Tuesday, May 3
Factory order, shipment and inventory figures for March are released by the Commerce Department.
The Treasury Department will auction $24 billion of year bills. The 52-week bills are dated May 5 and due May 3, 2012.

Thursday, May 5
Initial jobless claims for the week ending April 30 are released by the Labor Department.
Productivity and cost figures for the first quarter are released by the Labor Department.

Friday, May 6
Employment figures for April are released by the Labor Department.
Consumer credit figures for March are released by the Federal Reserve.
