Future Inflation Gauge Rose to 100.7 in December

U.S. inflationary pressures were higher in November, as the U.S. future inflation gauge grew to 100.7 from 100.0 in November, according to data the Economic Cycle Research Institute released on Friday.

“With the USFIG hitting an eight-month high, there is certainly no deflation danger at this time,” ECRI said in a release. “Inflation is [also] likely to stay relatively restrained.”
