Jobless Claims Fall 19,000 To 366,000 in Dec. 10 Week

WASHINGTON — Initial jobless claims fell 19,000 to 366,000 in the week ended Dec. 10, which is the lowest level since May 31, 2008, when claims were 365,000, the Labor Department reported Thursday.

Continuing claims climbed 4,000 to 3.603 million for the week ending Dec. 3.

Economists polled by Thomson Reuters projected 366,000 initial claims and 3.603 million continuing claims.
