Monday, December 19
The Treasury will auction $29 billion of 91-day bills and $27 billion of 182-day discount bills. The 91-day bills settle Dec. 22 and are due March 22, 2012. The 182-day bills settle Dec. 22 and are due June 21, 2012. Currently, there are $27.001 billion of 91-day bills outstanding and no 182-day bills.
The Treasury will auction $35 billion of two-year notes that are dated Dec. 31 and are due Dec. 31, 2013.

Tuesday, December 20
Housing starts and building permit figures for November are released by the Commerce Department.
The Treasury will auction $35 billion of five-year notes that are dated Dec. 31 and due Dec. 31, 2016.

Wednesday, December 21
Existing home sales figures for November are released by the National Association of Realtors.
The Treasury will auction $29 billion of seven-year notes that are dated Dec. 31 and due Dec. 31, 2018.

Thursday, December 22
Initial jobless claims for the week ending Dec. 17 are released by the Labor Department.
Final real gross domestic product figures for the third quarter are released by the Commerce Department.
Final consumer sentiment figures for December are released by the University of Michigan.
Leading indicator figures for November are released by the Conference Board.

Friday, December 23
Durable goods figures for November are released by the Commerce Department. 
Personal income and spending figures for November are released by the Commerce Department.
New home sales figures for November are released by the Commerce Department.
