Dallas Fed Cites Decline In Texas Factory Activity

Texas factory activity declined in November, as measured by the sector’s production index, according to the monthly business activity survey of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas.

The general business conditions index grew to 3.2 in November from 2.3 in October. The production index slid to negative 5.1 from positive 4.1, the Fed said.

As for the future outlook, the general business conditions index slid to 9.7 from 14.7 last month, the production index decreased to 35.1 from 43.2, while the capital expenditures index decreased to 11.4 from 18.3.
