Consumer Sentiment Index Rises to 64.1 in November

The University of Michigan’s final November consumer sentiment index reading was 64.1, compared to the preliminary November 64.2, and the October 60.9, according to market sources.

The expectations index was 55.4, compared to 56.2 earlier in November, and 51.8 in October.

The current conditions index was 77.6, compared to 76.6 earlier in November, and 75.1 in October.

Economists predicted a 64.5 reading for the main index, 76.8 for current conditions, and 56.3 for expectations.
