ECRI’s Inflation Gauge Slips to 99.2 Last Month

U.S. inflationary pressures were lower in October, as the U.S. future inflation gauge dipped to 99.2 from a revised 99.7 in September, originally reported as 99.9, according to data released Friday by the Economic Cycle Research Institute.

“After a brief interruption, the USFIG has begun to ease once again. Thus, U.S. inflation pressures are still in a cyclical downswing,” chief operations officer Lakshman Achuthan said in a release.
