Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Corbett has announced the investment of $84 million in 18 non-point source, drinking water, and wastewater projects in 14 counties.
Of the $84 million total, $69 million is for low-interest loans and $15 million is being offered as grants.
The funding comes from a combination of commonwealth funds approved by voter referendums, federal grants to the Pennsylvania Infrastructure Investment Authority, the federal Environmental Protection Agency, and recycled loan repayments from previous PennVest funding awards.
