Forum on Pension Change

Susan Urahn, managing director for the Pew Center on the States, and New Jersey Treasurer Andrew Sidamon-Eristoff will be the keynote speakers at a forum about state pension issues on Sept. 30 at Rutgers University in Newark.

Rutgers’ School of Public Affairs and Administration and the Hall Institute of Public Policy‑New Jersey are sponsoring the event.

Other speakers are Ronnie Lowenstein, director for New York City’s Independent Budget Office; Richard Raphael, executive managing director for Fitch Ratings; P. Kelly Hatfield, chairman and chief executive for the Public Employment Relations Commission; Fred Beaver, senior vice president of pension services at Church Pension Group and former director of New Jersey’s Division of Pensions and Health Benefits; and Richard Keevey, former New Jersey budget director and comptroller, and chief financial officer for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
