Treasury Strips Increase By $3.174 Billion in June

Newly issued Treasury securities held in stripped form increased about $3.174 billion in July to a total of $207.498 billion, the Bureau of the Public Debt reported Thursday.

Through the Separate Trading of Registered Interest and Principal of Securities program, or STRIPS, about $17.838 billion of Treasury securities were reconstituted in July.

Securities eligible for stripping totaled $7.817 trillion in July.
