Loan Group’s New Site

KnowledgeFunding Ohio Inc., a nonprofit group that issues tax-exempt bonds and buys student loans, has launched a new website for bondholders.

The site, www.knowledgefundingohio.org, will feature information intended for investors in the group’s senior and subordinate student-loan revenue bonds, officials said.

The information includes disclosure reports, rating actions, coverage calculations, annual financial statements, and press releases.

KnowledgeFunding Ohio was founded in 2005 and is Ohio’s designated nonprofit secondary market for student loans, according to the site.

The group issues tax-exempt debt using private-activity volume cap allocations from the Department of Economic Development to finance the purchase of student loans.

The bonds are payable solely from the student loans and other assets pledged under the trust indenture.
