Treasury 4-Weeks Go At 0.100% High Yield

The Treasury Department Tuesday auctioned $30 billion of four-week bills at a 0.100% high and a price of 99.992222. The coupon equivalent was 0.101%. The bid-to-cover ratio was 3.91.

Tenders at the high rate were allotted 78.26%. The median yield was 0.090%. The low yield was 0.070%. The bills have an issue date of Sept. 16 and are due Oct. 14. Tenders totaled $117,295,880,500 and the Treasury accepted $30,000,105,500, including $305,545,100 of noncompetitive. Federal Reserve banks bought $2,418,028,000 for their own account in exchange for maturing securities.
