The Treasury will auction $30 billion of 91-day bills and $30 billion of 182-day discount bills. The 91-day bills are dated July 22 and due Oct. 21. The 182-day bills are dated July 22 and due Jan. 20, 2011. Currently, there are $52.002 billion of 91-day bills outstanding and no 182-day bills.

Tuesday, July 20
Housing start and building permit figures for June are released by the Commerce Department.

Thursday, July 22
Initial jobless claims for the week ending July 17 are released by the Labor Department.
Existing home sales for June are released by the National Association of Realtors.
Leading indicators for June are released by the Conference Board.
