Casinos Boost Revenue

Casinos in Oklahoma operated by Native American tribes contributed $118.2 million to the state in fiscal 2010, up from $105.6 million in fiscal 2009.

The Office of State Finance said the state receives 4% to 6% of the tribal casino revenue from electronic games and 10% of the revenue from table games.

The largest revenue generators are the Chickasaw Nation’s 13 casinos and gambling facilities, which provided $33.3 million to the state. That is up from $28.7 million in fiscal 2009.

The Quapaw Nation, which operates two casinos in northeast Oklahoma, paid $5.7 million to the state in fiscal 2010, up 28% from the fiscal 2009 contribution of $4.5 million.
