S&Y Names Two Managing Directors, Promotes 11 Others in Three Cities

SAN FRANCISCO — Stone & Youngberg last week announced the promotion of Brian Fox and Kevin Schultze to managing directors, as well as 11 other promotions.

Fox, managing director of the municipal sales and trading group, has been with the firm for seven years.

He has been a municipal trader since 1996 in San Francisco and New York, with firms that include UBS and Bankers Trust. He is based in the San Francisco headquarters of Stone & Youngberg.

Schultze, based in Chicago, heads the firm’s portfolio strategy group, and is its acting chief economist, responsible for developing fixed-income strategies for institutional clients. He has more than 20 years of experience in fixed-income portfolio management.

S&Y announced 11 other promotions last week.

Promoted to vice president are: Mike Blake in the municipal sales and grading group, based in San Francisco; Jake Campos in the public finance group, based in San Francisco; Mike Finley in the portfolio strategy group, based in Chicago; in the taxable group, Jason Aiello in New York and Andrew Bleser in Chicago; and in the private-client group, Jared Boldemann, John Hutchinson, and J.P. Scanlon in San Francisco.

Promoted to assistant vice president are: Marie Autphenne in the municipal credit group, Betsy Keyes in the municipal sales and trading group, and Charlene Graham in the taxable sales group, all in San Francisco.
