The Treasury will auction $26 billion of 91-day bills and $28 billion of 182-day discount bills. The 91-day bills are dated March 11 and due June 10. The 182-day bills are dated March 11 and due Sept. 9.

Tuesday, March 9
The Treasury will auction $26 billion of year bills. The 52-week bills are dated March 11 and due March 10, 2011. It also will auction $40 billion of three-year notes. The notes are dated March 15 and due March 15, 2013.

Wednesday, March 10
Wholesale trade figures for January are released by the Commerce Department.

The federal budget deficit or surplus for February is released by the Treasury Department.

The Treasury will auction $21 billion of 9-year, 11-month notes. The notes settle March 15 and are due Feb. 15, 2020.

Thursday, March 11
Initial jobless claims for the week ending March 6 are released by the Labor Department.

International trade figures for January are released by the Commerce Department.

The Treasury will auction $13 billion of 29-year, 11-month notes. The notes settle March 15 and are due Feb. 15, 2040.
 
Friday, March 12
Retail sales figures for February are released by the Commerce Department.

Business inventory and sales figures for January are released by the Commerce Department.

Preliminary consumer sentiment figures for March are released by the University of Michigan.
