New York City business activity declined for the 14th straight month, although March’s current conditions index rebounded from a seven-year low in February, according to the National Association of Purchasing Management-New York’s Report on Business.
The current business conditions index jumped to 43.1 in March from 29.6 in February, the NAPM-NY reported yesterday.
The report’s six-month outlook index surged a record 33 points to 64.8 from 31.8. The NY-BCI dropped to 366.5 from 369.9.
