Stone & Youngberg Announces Promotions

SAN FRANCISCO - Stone & Youngberg LLC this week announced several public finance group promotions.

The San Francisco-based firm promoted Sara Oberlies and Mike LaVallee to managing directors, and also promoted Anna Van Degna and Ken Holman to vice presidents.

Oberlies, in the firm's Los Angeles office, specializes in tax increment, land-secured, water and wastewater enterprise, and general fund financing. She has a decade of experience in public finance.

LaVallee, from the firm's Phoenix office, has more than 12 years expertise in Arizona public finance, and manages public finance accounts that include cities, towns, school districts, universities, and special districts.

Van Degna, from the firm's San Francisco office, has experience that includes general fund, enterprise revenue, land-secured and redevelopment financings for cities, public agencies, and non-profits throughout California.

Holman, from the San Diego office, joined the firm in 2001 after serving in the city of Laguna Hills' city manager and finance departments and working as a civil engineer associate in the private sector.

The firm also announced the promotion of Doug Frigon to director in the taxable fixed-income sales group in San Francisco.
