Jan. Durable Orders -5.2%; Broad Drop for 6th Month

U.S. durable goods orders had a sixth month in a row of stunning weakness and now stand at their lowest level since December 2002.

January durable goods orders fell a greater-than-expected 5.2%, and also were down 2.3% excluding military orders, and down 2.5% excluding transportation.
