Chicago Fed Nat’l Index Widens to -0.81 in Sept.

The Chicago Fed national activity index for September widened to negative 0.81 from a revised negative 0.65 reading in August, originally reported as negative 0.90.

Meanwhile, the three-month moving average improved to negative 0.63 in September from August’s revised negative 0.96 reading, initially reported as negative 1.09, the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago reported yesterday.
