U.S. durable goods orders printed down 2.5% in June, slightly worse than expected as orders declined after two months of gains.
Durables excluding transportation rose 1.1%, their second straight monthly gain. Durables excluding military orders fell 0.7%. While Boeing Corp. reported 20 new orders for aircraft, unchanged from 20 in May, nonmilitary aircraft and parts orders were down 38.5%.
