Standard & Poor’s raised its underlying rating on Montgomery County, Tex., Municipal Utility District No. 46’s general obligation debt to A-plus from A-minus, citing the MUD’s mature status of development and limited future capital needs.
Standard & Poor’s also assigned its A-plus long-term rating to the district’s $6.5 million of Series 2009 waterworks and sewer system unlimited-tax bonds.
The outlook on the ratings is stable.
