House Transportation Bill Unveiled

WASHINGTON -- The House Transportation Committee today unveiled a 775-page multi-year transportation infrastructure bill that it plans to vote on during a subcommittee meeting Wednesday. The bill would establish a metropolitan mobility program with bond financing provisions, create an office of public benefit that would oversee tolling and public-private partnerships, and establish a national strategic plan that would include selected state projects.
