Weekly T-Bills Go At 1.610%, 1.740% Highs

Tender rates for the Treasury Department’s latest 91-day and 182-day discount bills were higher yesterday, as the three-months incurred a 1.610% high rate, up from 1.420% the previous week, and the six-months incurred a 1.740% high rate, up from 1.700%.

Coupon equivalents were 1.639% and 1.780%, respectively. The price for the 91s was 99.593028 and that for the 182s was 99.120333.

The median bid on the 91s was 1.540%. The low bid was 1.450%. Tenders at the high rate were allotted 44.12%. The bid-to-cover ratio was 2.49. Tenders totaled $54,858,281,600 and the Treasury accepted $22,000,061,600, including $1,618,266,600 of noncompetitive.

The median bid for the 182s was 1.690%. The low bid was 1.620%. Tenders at the high rate were allotted 81.87%. The bid-to-cover ratio was 2.59. Tenders totaled $54,331,226,800 and the Treasury accepted $21,000,069,300, including $1,220,226,800 of noncompetitive.
