Bullard to Replace Poole As St. Louis Fed President

James B. Bullard has been appointed president and chief executive officer of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis. The appointment was approved by the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System.

Bullard will assume his new position on Tuesday, April 1, and succeeds William Poole, who will retire as St. Louis Fed president on March 31 after serving in the position for 10 years.
