Park GOs Get S&P Boost

Standard & Poor’s this week upgraded the Bloomingdale Park District’s general obligation credit to AA-minus, citing good reserves and liquidity levels.

The rating action came in conjunction with a review of the district’s upcoming sale of $2.45 million of general obligation refunding bonds. The new issue will refund debt sold in 1998.

The Bloomingdale Park District covers the village of Bloomingdale and parts of Roselle and Addison in DuPage County west of Chicago.
