Weekly T-Bills Go at 0.040%, 0.285%

Tender rates for the Treasury Department’s latest 90-day and 181-day discount bills were mixed yesterday, as the three-months incurred a 0.040% high rate, down from 0.050% the week before, and the six-months incurred a 0.285% high rate, up from 0.270%.

Coupon equivalents were 0.041% and 0.289%, respectively. The price for the 90s was 99.990000 and that for the 181s was 99.856708. The median bid on the 90s was 0.005%. The low bid was 0.000%. Tenders at the high rate were allotted 29.11%. The bid-to-cover ratio was 2.90.

Tenders totaled $78,245,199,500 and the Treasury accepted $27,000,111,500, including $1,398,570,500 of noncompetitive.

The median bid for the 181s was 0.200%. The low bid was 0.000%. Tenders at the high rate were allotted 45.71%. The bid-to-cover ratio was 2.67. Tenders totaled $72,222,972,500 and the Treasury accepted $27,000,072,500, including $967,583,500 of noncompetitive.
