Durable Goods Orders Decline 6.2% in October

WASHINGTON — October durable goods orders fell 6.2% in their third drop in a row, marking the biggest drop since October 2006. September was revised to a negative from the original report. Orders excluding transportation were down 4.4% and ex-military was down 4.6%.
