K.C. Fed: Manufacturing Activity Eased in August

Manufacturing activity in the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City’s region eased somewhat in August, but companies’ expectations for future activity rebounded considerably over the last month.

Most price indexes moderated slightly from very high levels, though most contacts still expected some future pass-through of prices, according to the bank’s monthly manufacturing survey released yesterday.
