Revenues Dip in July

Georgia’s revenues slipped 6.6% in July to about $1.21 billion.

Individual income tax revenue collections totaled about $570 million. That was a 6.5% drop compared to July 2007, according to the Georgia Department of Revenue.

Net sales and use collections were down 5.3% to $492 million.

Corporate income taxes fell 62% to $12.53 million.

Motor fuel taxes were flat at about $79 million.
