The Treasury Department yesterday auctioned $27 billion of four-week bills at a 1.850% high yield, a price of 99.856111.
The coupon equivalent was 1.878%. The bid-to-cover ratio was 2.73. Tenders at the high rate were allotted 4.52%. The median yield was 1.775%. The low yield was 1.600%.
Inflows returned to muni mutual funds as investors added $200.3 million for the week ending Wednesday after $1.474 billion of outflows, according to LSEG Lipper.
Democratic Gov. Laura Kelly nixed another tax cut bill passed by the Republican-led legislature this year, while pushing a less-costly plan.
