MONDAY, December 3
The Treasury raises $5.001 billion at its regular weekly auction of three-month and six-month discount bills by selling $41.0 billion to refund $35.999 billion of maturing securities. Also maturing is an estimated $20.0 billion of publicly held four-week Treasury bills, the disposition of which will be announced.

WEDNESDAY, December 5
Revised productivity and cost figures for the third quarter are released by the Labor Department.
Factory order, shipment, and inventory figures for October are released by the Commerce Department.

THURSDAY, December 6
Initial jobless claims for the week ending Dec. 1 are announced by the Labor Department.

FRIDAY, December 7
Employment figures for November are released by the Labor Department.

Preliminary consumer sentiment figures for December are released by the University of Michigan.
Consumer credit figures for October are released by the Federal Reserve Board.
