University of Mich. Final Dec. Index at 75.5

The University of Michigan’s Final December consumer sentiment index reading was 75.5, compared to the final November reading of 76.1, the 75.0 reading earlier in November, the final October 80.9, and the final September 83.4 reading, according to market sources.

The expectations index was 65.6, compared to 66.2 last month, 64.7 at mid-November, 70.1 at the end of October, and 74.1 in September.

The current conditions index was 91.0, compared to 91.5 in November, 91.0 in mid-November, 97.6 in October, and 97.9 in September.

The University of Michigan index is not released to the press, but only to paying subscribers.
