FUNDING WATER SECURITY & RELIABILTY Mandatory water restrictions have been lifted in Southern California. But the need to secure and expand the states water resources is still a priority. One initiative is to store extra water from plentiful water years underground and to pump it out in dry years. Another plan is to practice efficiency through conservation. And yet another is to grow the desalination option. All of these projects drive the region to work together and find creative ways to finance their efforts.

These structures will be reviewed with a focus on identifying the risk/benefit profile associated with each alternative. With respect to municipal programs promoting distributed solar PV on private property, the latest developments regarding PACE will be discussed.
