Rich Saskal has been the Far West Bureau Chief for The Bond Buyer since 2004. Before joining the newspaper in 2003, he worked for a variety of news organizations, with experiences ranging from being the sole employee of a weekly newspaper to contributing to the worldwide reach of The Associated Press.

He has an master’s degree in journalism from the University of Colorado, and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia.
